The Cyclops' by J. Corwin Lures is not your average, single prop buzzbait, delivering performance and quality rarely seen from our competitors. The Cyclops' Buzzbait, born in the Midwest, started out as a series of stylized, hand-sculpted prototypes with a surfboard keel and profile, gradually evolving through collaboration with our partners at Row Innovations into one of the most seductive topwater lures on the market today. A true half-ounce buzzbait, that looks, feels, and preforms with the finesse of a 1/4oz to 1/8oz plug.

The Cyclops' Buzzbait has many distinguishing features, including the use of Tin rather than Lead to mold the profile around a custom, hand-bent .045" Spring-Back Stainless-Steel wire form. Tin is harder, stronger, firmer, and less dense than lead by nature, allowing the Cyclops' Buzzbait to have a larger profile without the added weight, or sacrificing the lure’s ability to lift and plane quickly onto the surface. A lead-based lure profile of the same size would be significantly heavier and fail to perform as well as the tin-based Cyclops’.

Our premium, anodized aluminum blade is arguably one of the most important aspects of the Cyclops' Buzzbait's performance. The larger size F blade, combined with the light-wire frame of the Cyclops' Buzzbait, increases anglers' ability to truly "slow-roll" the lure through the strike zone, significantly increasing hook-up ratio. The Cyclops' Buzzbait will track and plane true around cover at a medium to slow retrieve, resulting in some of the most viscous and heart-pounding top water action you've ever seen.

The Cyclops' Buzzbait is constructed with a tournament-tested Owner 5320 4/0 hook, custom Fish Skull Living Eye, molded double-barbed bait keeper, and exaggerated skirt collar, adding superior flair to our hand tied Living Rubber skirt material. Each buzzbait is hand tuned prior to packaging for maximum "squeal" right out of the box and finished in a custom hand-painted colorway to match!
