The Hybrid 8.5, which has been designed with a slender, slightly ribbed body and hefty action appendages, will kick, vibrate, and thump below the surface, warning any surrounding bass of an impending threat and prompting them to strike.

Utilize this soft plastic lure in unconventional ways. Drag it out deep to probe submerged structure like rock and timber for active fish or flip it up shallow for success near docks and dense cover. As you raise and drag your rod tip, light weight presentations, such as those weighing 5/16 oz and under, will cause the lure and its appendages to move more slowly and organically. The frequency at which the appendages move and vibrate will increase with heavier alternatives, such as 3/8oz and higher, giving the Hybrid a hefty, chaotic feel during your retrieval.
